Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and HR Breakers ("we", "us", "our") for use of hrbreakers.com and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
HR Breakers helps you adapt a resume to a specific job posting using automated analysis and AI-generated text. Outputs are provided as downloadable documents (for example PDF). We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
The Service is a tool to assist your job search. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or ATS acceptance by any employer.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You may not use the Service where prohibited by law.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hi@hrbreakers.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Information you provide must be accurate. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.
4. Credits and payments
The Service uses a credit-based model. New accounts may receive promotional free credits. Additional credits are sold through Stripe and Platega as described on the pricing section of our website.
Credits are consumed when you run adaptations or other metered features. Unless required by applicable law, purchased credits are non-refundable once delivered to your account. Chargebacks or payment disputes may result in account suspension.
Prices and credit packs may change. Taxes may apply depending on your location and are your responsibility where not collected by us.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
- Use the Service to generate fraudulent, misleading, or defamatory materials.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
- Share account access or resell the Service without our written permission.
- Use the Service in violation of applicable employment, anti-discrimination, or export control laws.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of resumes, job postings, and other materials you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service, including sending text to AI systems for adaptation.
You represent that Your Content is truthful to the best of your knowledge and that you have permission to submit it. You are solely responsible for what you send to employers after using the Service.
7. AI-generated output
Adapted resumes are generated automatically. They may omit, rephrase, or emphasize information in ways you did not intend. Our systems are designed not to invent employers, dates, or skills you did not provide, but errors can occur.
You must review every output before use. We are not liable for hiring decisions, rejections, or consequences of submitting AI-assisted documents.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or code except as needed to use the Service.
9. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third parties (for example Stripe, Platega, Google, GitHub). Your use of those services is subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policies.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL MEET ANY PARTICULAR STANDARD.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from Your Content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, risk to the Service, or legal requirements. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by nature should survive (including liability limits and indemnity) remain in effect.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of HR Breakers, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a formal dispute, contact hi@hrbreakers.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
If informal resolution fails, disputes will be brought in the courts of the jurisdiction where the operator is established, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
